I like these guys and Simon actually did the race. That being said, his opinion is just another opinion. Just because he liked the race, and has a video channel doesn't make his opinion any greater than anyone else. They do make several good point for sure.

There are several other race video reports echoing the same points and so do I and other people who also raced.

Incredibly intense, not at all easy at the speed you’re going and tough with someone always driving the pace. Also lots of mechanicals due to the harsh conditions at certain stretches.

In addition the arrangement and framing made it a memorable experience. Seeing the WT pros scouting the course and preparing for the start, lots of Belgians watching the races. I am going to Nice next year!

XC Marathon rider, Martin Stosek (CZE) won the Elite men's, and the women's Elite was won by Sina Frei (SUI) - who is in the form of her life.

Yeah true, opinions are like......opinions, everyone's got one. I'm not drooling Si and he's not my home boi. Episode just summed all this noise nicely, moaning. Did people btw saw the bike he was riding, jeebs talking about diamonds?!
