A. Schleck out of the Tour

CN has reports from luxembourg papers that Andy's out for 6 weeks with fractures from TT crash.

Frank's turn to take a full tilt perhaps?

The Hog playing funny******s?

Andy piking after having his a** handed to him in Dauphine?

what say you to this...

I say that I can't decipher funny******s?

The tour is getting worse and worse. When in 6 weeks all the brits are cheering for their Tour Champion, the rest of the world will think it's pretty worthless because the biggest competition wasn't there because of crashes or UCI farces

is what I actually wrote - meaning that Brunyeel's playing games with either opponents or with Andy - ie; has had enough of Andy and used this as the "official" reason for his non-inclusion...

That is a lot less offensive then what I imagined. ;)

So it´s really up to Wiggins - Evans - Menchov...

Menchov has often been little bit off the pace in Dauphiné, this year, he was quite far back, especially in the TT, where he lost 3 mins.

The podium now should be up to these three.

For Andy, even the Vuelta prep isn´t easy now, should be be out for six weeks.

Indeed, I'm a Brit and the notion of this scruffy mod as your representative is unpleasant

I don't really get it. Why do people rate Menchov so highly for this year's Tour? What has he done in this season or the last one?

No, it is a soap opera because when this team sends out a press release nobody knows if it is actual information or an attempt to get free media attention or motivate riders or manipulate sponsors or fans. The communications of this team is lie upon lie. There is just no dignity left.

Maybe because he's the only multiple GT winner in the race. At 34 most people aren't ready to consider him "past it" when last year's winner was that age.

I was actually looking forward to the Tour until Andy's news, very bad for the race. I find it hard to feel sorry for him though, everyone gets injuries... that's why it's best to try and get results whenever you race.

2011 was a lost year for Menchov, wrong team, as we know now.

With his 2010 shape, he could win the Tour, I just fear he won´t have this shape...

Actually, this could be very interesting. If Andy is 100% at the vuelta, We could see an epic battle between Andy and Alberto outside Of the tour for the first time. If that happens, i think that a vuelta victory would be rated higher than a tour victory.

First it was his knee, now his back (I thought it was Horner's back that was bad.)

Forgive me if I doubt, and it very well may be in misguided, but the parcours of the Vuelta this year suit both Andy Schleck and Chris Horner much better.

Truth or dare, this may end up being better in the end.

Klöden is the only guy who can really be a possible GC in the TdF this year for Radio Shack Nissan Trek becasue of the long time trials.

RSNT are getting some kind of press out of it anyway.

Bushman beat me to the punch.

It may be a greater achievment but it certainly wouldnt be rated higher

It won't be an epic battle because Andy won't stand a chance. And noway that Vuelta win would be rated higher than a Tour win.
