While I presume the injury is racing related, given the last photo I saw of him he was bungee jumping with a BMX it's hard to be surprised by this

Hee hee, that was a great story, and typical Adam. But that was sometime during the off-season. He has raced this year, and was DNF in the final stage of Coppi e Bartoli, I assume that is when he broke the bone.

Just to update: He is racing again. The Four Days of Dunkirk is his first race back after breaking his collarbone.

Was he meant to ride the Giro before his broken collarbone, and is he on Columbia's list for the TdF?

He has said on his website that he was scheduled to ride the Giro again this year and that he hopes/hoped to ride the Tour.
