AFLD vs UCI

That thread title may not be right.

to lend our support to this international federation to perform checks on Paris-Nice"

That suggests, to me, that AFLD was to be the local logistics for UCI's testing.

It looks like the AFLD knows the UCI's testing is nothing it pretends to be and would not associate itself with the UCI. That's the right thing to do.

Pretty crazy.

I'm glad to see that in light of how terribly the UCI is doing things right now that it's not still business as usual for at least some of their races.

Once enough people jump ship, maybe they'll wake up. Although probably Pat and Hein will sink together on the same boat drunk on Irish whiskey.

CN story: AFLD refuses to run controls in Paris-Nice

... However in a statement, the AFLD mentioned the UCI's "serious mistakes that have been previously identified and on which all the light has not yet been shed". It was a clear indication that the French testing body has lost confidence in the governance of the sport and the UCI.

This will just make Hein's job even easier in '13. KISS model.
