NOW Contador is whining in the press that Lance hasnt called him or spoken to him about this recent scandal.

Contador could have come out and said that Disco and Bruyneel run a clean operation and he cant imagine Lance or any of the team doing anything wrong.

My apologies. Dumb reply to to a dump post. My only excuse is that Seattle just has too many excellent beers, and when you go out with a few friends and try to sample them all, the results are predictable.

For the record, back when David Millar was busted for EPO as the reigning World TT champion, it was none other than Lancer who called to offer his support, reportedly telling Millar: "It's no big deal".

As a star rider who was been subject to countless "witchhunts" rolleyes, it's logical to think Lance might have contacted Berto. And thus a reasonable question for a reporter to ask.

Crybaby? It's not like Berto claimed it was all an "Un-american" conspiracy and he didn't deserve it 'cause he'd just done too much doggone good for too many doggone people...
