i remember before and during the first days of tdf, there were a lot of topics with how many minutes will be between ac/as and rest, who will be third, etc. after the tour, i guess same persons were like...men, if only our beloved contador didn't ride the giro, he would eat galibier ...and...how many minutes/hours would he won....how many minutes will he win in 2012-2025...:) it's funny imo :) keep up the good work, you're very good cycling critics :)

Thank you Sir. For making this thread and telling me I was wrong in believing Contador could win. I would never have known otherwise.. Just wish you would have made it in the beginning July instead so I'm not looking like such a fool now :(

climbs ore climbers?

Climbers, that were in decent shape at least. And this is by looking at the amount of watts they were kicking on the climbs. In the Tour they only ever once went over 6 w/kg and that's when Contador attacked on the Telegraphe. Contador on the Etna was kicking over 6.6 w/kg during his attack. A lot higher than anyone did in this Tour.

Not only smart, also quite good looking ;) Of course my wit pales compared to yours obviously... I am after all the one who thought Contador would win..

Bet you look quite sexy in your Captain Hindsight skin suit as well.

i was in france for alpine stages and i just saw them on torrents. i am not an evans fan or a contador hater, my favourite rider is mick rogers ( no comment) ...and 'sans' gloating...honnestly

What exactly is the point that you are quite unsuccessfully and clumsily (is that a word?) trying to make?

Most everyone knew that the Giro would take it's toll on those that participated, including Contador, we just didn't know how much. Part of supporting riders that one admires is to wish the best for them and to think optimistically. Who could have predicted that there would be so many crashes that would take out or injure so many contenders for the Tour gc?

Once again, if we knew if you actually have a point that you're trying to make or just gloating we'd be better able to respond or simply accept that this thread is simply waste of time and simply an op for you to revel in, what you seem to be foolishly implying as your own genius.

So once again, what is your point? You say you're not gloating. You're not a Contador hater or an Evans fan. So the point you're making is that some here thought Contador and AS would have minutes on the opposition at the Tour's end and that they were so wrong in their prognostications? Let us see how well you're able to accurately predict the outcome of, let's say the upcoming Vuelta or any cycling event, and then you can come back here and we can all bask in the glow of your unrivaled superiority. Otherwise frak off!:D
