If David Millar is right, i.e. if doping under Bruyneel/USPS was clear for everybody to see, I'd love to hear Millar's view on why Lim ever returned to Bruyneel/RadioShack, and how that reflects on the integrity of Lim during his spell at Garmin.

Nah, that's old school.

It's all about beet juice now. I guess Lim has the international market cornered...

Allen Lim is awesome. He rides a motorcycle and tells people not to dope. He's a good guy our Allen Lim. Loves God and always eats his greens.

“While I became aware of Floyd’s attempt to dope himself and Levi [Leipheimer] in 2005, my actions were neither complicit nor complacent and I made it clear that this wasn’t right, encouraging them as much as I could at the time to ride clean,” Lim wrote.

So when Allen Lim was talking how Landis heroics during the 2006 Tour were within the athlete's ability, what he meant was "his doped to the gills ability"?

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/16/opinion/16iht-edeustice.2505327.html?_r=0

Just another enabler that has lied before and is lying now.

just read the velonews article. Lim should be banned from cycling for life like the rest of them.

And if he made a sworn testimony to the FDA investigators, he could be in trouble for perjury if Floyd and bottle team up against him.

It is also instructive to recall the role McQuaid played as well, doing his best to undermine the LNDD, all part of his war on the 'The French' on behalf of Armstrong. This was despite the fact that the LNDD never did know the identity of any samples it tested, and the match with Armstrong's samples was only possible because the UCI itself, with Armstrong's permission, released the codes to Damien Ressiot!

Seriously, there isn't a whole lot of concrete evidence that shows Lim did anything underhanded. However, that isn't to say that he didn't know about anything going on. I view Lim more as an opportunist. He was gonna capitalize on some big athlete, Lance, or Floyd, or whomever and just to say that he was involved as a trainer. The guy is actively pedaling a new electrolyte drink called Scratch. It's been getting some pub, but it really, really sucks.

he was happy to deny and engage in misinformation, so I suppose it depends on your definition of underhanded. He helped Landis. He let Landis be wholly responsible

What would Landis gain from naming Lim, with the reason Lim gave that he did it because Lim knew he was doping, if he's already admitting that he doped? I must be missing something. Landis named Lim because he was, according to Landis a willing participant in the process. Virtually everything that Landis has stated since his confession has turned out to be consistent to what is now coming out. So according to Lim, he is the sole individual that Landis has chosen to lie about their involvement in this conspiracy?

So when did Lim became aware of the above? His statement above is ambiguous.

So when he's telling Fyold how to maximize his doping program is that not "complicit".

Also did he make the call to USADA in 2005 when he "knew" they were doping (not being complacent)??

Get this guy away from any young riders.

Careful, an idiot has hacked your account and is posting gibberish again.

well, you never know of the reasoning given re: stage 16 of 2006 Tour.

The bidons from the Phonak team car Lim described as frozen/chilled/cold water, and poured over Landis during his breakaway, for "thermal regulation".

Brailsford cant even much such marginal gains

hence, the hail mary frozen bidons from heaven.

the Tom Brady reference was my artistic licence masterstroke especially since patriot deflategate.

@Bobbins

AL: I find it surprising that people are surprised by it, because in the world of environmental physiology, or sport physiology, everyone knows that thermal regulation, heat regulation, is probably the great limiting factor. The human is only 22, 25% efficient, so if you’re burning 100 calories, 75 of that is going into heat, and your body needs to dissipate that. The primary mechanism is through sweat and blood, literally, having hot blood come up to your periphery, and sweat allowing your body to cool that blood.

AL: yep, I agree with la pussie noir's theories and his thermal regulation fozen bidons from heaven.

WRONG

I had heard from the NorthKorean government source that they were supplying the China Ma's Army with some ginsingroot never before unearthed.

As for Lim I think they have moved on to the gluten free coffee wafers.
