Are the UCI clowns, terrorists and "no different to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi"?

Pat what are you doing?

No - how dare you even suggest it.

Clowns are funny and good at juggling.
Terrorists are motivated by politics - not money.
Gadaffi is dead - Patrick & Heinricous are not.

The way they tagged that onto the end of the story was good. I thought it was a funny way of editorializing the story at first. But, then I thought about Hein Verbruggen a minute and realized he or Pat were serious.

They have been so free to do and say whatever they want they aren't even aware they embarrass themselves and the IOC. It reminds me of this guy: http://listverse.com/2010/05/30/top-10-crazy-facts-about-kim-jong-il/

Exactly. They are so ensconced in their insular world that they can't see how this looks to normal people. They are satirizing themselves.

Does anyone know if Floyd is going to pay? Does he have the funds and even if he did, is there any real way for the Swiss to extract them from him? It's not like anyone particularly wants to do the Swiss any favours with respect to finances.

What an absolute joke of a ruling, as well. Hope Kimmage wins come his case.

Somewhere they are both patting each other on the back.
For a victory party they are probably eating at a buffet somewhere drinking boxed wine.

My guess is, as long as he doesn't decide to move to Switzerland or France at this point he will not be bothered. Specific to the Swiss case, I believe that to be a civil case too. I could be wrong though...

Maybe Landis should partially comply and see if he can't get some donated space to publish that quote verbatim on April 1, 2013. Apologize to the Clowns and Terrorists on April 1. That's comedy gold. My gift to you FL. Run with it!

Pat and boxed wine?? Pfft. The UCI pays for the good stuff!! Where do you think all the great Bordeaux output gets consumed?

This is exactly why I am glad Paul Kimmage will have some financing to stuff these guys. For those who haven't chipped in now is the time!

It seems odd that Floyd is forbidden to describe Verdruggen and Fat Pat exactly as they are.

I am guessing that the fact that Floyd didn't show up was why he lost this case.

Or......Floyd could publish the required statements, along with: ..."nor are they ******-bags, criminals, fraudsters, coverupsters, moneygrubbers, Khazak-womanizers, and especially 'the guardians of cycling'

Pretty sure it's Mercier who's saying what you quoted, not Tygart

I don't think that's Tygart's quote. Looks like it's excerpted from an op-ed piece written by Mercier.

Superleicht

An agency copy writer could not have done it better. We need to find a way to support Floyd to run these ads, verbatim. Bring this ridicule to the broader cycling public.

This is complete BS.

The UCI would never bill Qatar for cheap food and box wine.

Krebs you're on the "Floyd Pro Bono Team". Now all we need is some free media budget...

In fact, no joke, why not start a small campaign for the funniest UCI artwork, to be submitted to well known cycling websites and forums. Have to think about a suitable prize...

Haha krebs that's genius!

I can't believe this happened. What happens if USADA's report suggests that Floyd was right? What do Pat and Hein do then? Can Landis re-up?

California has an anti-SLAPP suit law. I wonder if that could be used by Landis to sue the UCI in a California court. I would donate for that. It would be great fun.

The Floyd Freedom Fund. Floyd deserves the right to call the UCI clowns.
