Armstrong A doper, not a cheater?

I'm just curious, for those of you who consider Armstrong a doper do you also consider him a cheater? The goal of cheating would be to gain an advantage on the competition and create an uneven playing field, but with so many teams and riders (almost all GC contenders) doping, if Lance were to dope wouldn't he be evening out the playing field for himself? I'm just curious about your thoughts, thanks.
