Sprinting in the drops no less.He felt super today. Podium finish with fighting for positions himself. He was really happy with it.

Well, when basically every successful sprinter ever sprinted with his hands in the drops, i think it's normal to raise the question. I also don't think De Cauwer was the first to bring this up.José needs to stop thinking he knows everything better. It's getting really annoying. It's like saying to Milan he should be sprinting lower on his bike to take less wind, like he's going to put the same amount of power on the pedals like that.

I think it's a good thing when choices of riders/teams get questioned. It happens far too seldom imho. Especially when based on "gutfeeling".De Lie only does it when he's sprinting uphill and has had major succes doing it. It's the style he feels the most comfortable with it, he's not gonna go faster while sprinting in the drops uphill. He has tried it and he didn't feel good with it at all.
And yes he was literally already crying about it two years ago. When he was winning races while doing it.

Calling yesterday an uphill sprint, is also pushing it.

Final 300m were like 2% and they were doing 55 kph+. Also he was in the draft.Literally the definition of an uphill sprint.
It is just questioning it when you have been whining about it for 2 years straight.
