i cant remember if i have sugegsted this or not, but it would be cool if CN had the ability for members to comment on the articles. This is a pretty common elelment on leading website's in the modern day and no doubt would be a great addition.

been suggested.. are you offering to moderate all the comments. It would be a full time job and more besides

Will never happen, seriously would take two people (At least) full time just to keep the comments under control, and adds nothing commercially to the site that the forum doesnt.

Moderation is obviously required, but I believe you over-do how much moderation is required. Obviously there would need to be constant need to supervise it and such but with the right programming and software there are easier ways to control such.

I dislike posting on blogs/articles. Whenever I do it, I never go back and check the replies, so in a way I don't see the point in doing it. Forums are much better for engaging in discussion.

The best way would be to integrate it into the forum, so everyone would need a forum login to comment, and the comments for each article would also be its own forum thread (in a dedicated forum).

That is more or less what I meant, but obviously if this is a hosted forum (dunno if it is) programming and implememnting into the website would be a difficult thing.
