Ashlin Barry is going to crush anything he touches

He's obviously an amazing talent, but 16, two years later and he maybe down the pub, women a Top priority and bikes a distant past.
He looks ahead for his age in the puberty race and things can change.
I'd say he deserves a bit more hype than that, considering he's been mixing it with 18 years old top juniors like Felix Ørn-Kristoff in the road races this season, getting some serious results along the way.

Forgive me if mentioning road cycling is not allowed in this sub-forum. :D

Oh I'm not doubting his exceptional talent, just that in all sports talent is only one part of making it as a successful senior, commitment, environment and the exceptional will to make the ongoing commitment.
Many top juniors become stars, many top juniors don't.
He has a mom and dad who have been in the big show. I would think their tutelage is going to be helpful to his career.

Maybe, but until a rider hits 20-ish I don't think how good they are. The reason is for example Pogačar. Young and he was good and now Amazing...but so where a few as he was coming up. And where are they now?
