Disc on front, deep rim on rear?

Backwards for the road maybe but that make aero sense. The front wheel "breaks" the wind so you want it to be a clean as possible. Obviously you don't see this on the road because a little wind would make things sketchy. Two discs seem more the norm, but he must be trying to tune his ride. There must not be too much difference otherwise he wouldn't do it. Really the 3. 4. 5 spoke front wheels don't seem to make sense but again, they must have run the numbers.Bustedknuckle said:Disc on front, deep rim on rear?
