Hi, I have a mountain bike and want to get some puncture resistant tyres (sought of like the Gatorskins for the road). But I don't want those nobs on them. Can have tread but mainly smooth. Any tips?

Thanks in advance

You can give these a shot:

GEAX Evolutions

The downside is they are heavy, but pretty low rolling resistance and and enough block tread that you can ride them on gravel, dirt roads, and light single track. I've never had a flat with them...I think due to the tall block tread...

Schwalbe tires.

Take your pick, they make lots of 26" tires with little or no tread, and flat protection.
Marathons, Marathon Supreme, Marathon Racer, Big Apples, Fat Franks

I'd stay away from the ones with the blue ultra protection under the tread unless you need it, as they make the tires really heavy and sluggish.
