I think there isn't much amateur cycling team promo videos, so
I would like to introduce you to a short video from our team:

BR is writing a story about everyday people, with ordinary jobs and everyday things to do. This story is about a way of life and places the unavoidable element of movement at the forefront. We understand that the human body is not created for sitting so movement and a healthy lifestyle, are all the more important.

BikeRepublic is a small community spreading a big idea. Our motto is to move and live healthily, as this makes us happy, makes life fuller and makes the challenges of a modern lifestyle easier to handle.
We cycle, and with that we have fun; we compete, we train and we eat healthily.

The video managed to keep me watching. It was engaging, it also had a slick feel and good production. What was the point? A small team of like minded riders that I guess are past pro racing age or masters? Maybe cat 1 but amateurs.
You showcase your sponsored products and I see you have some good sponsorships too.
This looks like a good idea for any team to promote them selves but I have a hard time imagining your audience is broader than the community you live in and other racing cyclists. Except for this video I would never have any knowledge of your team so I guess it is working as now I know you exist.

Not to put you down or criticize you for doing so but in the end I did not care. If you guys were locals I would say now that is cool so it is just because your team has not identity here. You guys are not a pro team where I will read your results.

I have no reason to follow your team but I dd like the video. It felt like a campagnolo commercial.

Hey Master50, thanks for your thoughts on the video!
The point was to promote team, equipment and cycling in general. In the video there are 2 amateur cyclists, others are masters.
Maybe we'll inspire other teams to make promotional videos too and we'd make cycling more temptingly for others. As a cycler I'd love bike-users statistic to increase. I believe we agree on this one.

What was the violation? didn't BR have rights to it or was it the Lycra? Hard to imagine that video was protected in any way that linking it here would violate you tube rules? Some competing team say the video was theirs? Commercial promotion and no cut for Google?

I looked at the video but it was just a waste of my time. Too disjointed and I learned nothing except you guys have expensive bikes and kit. Some dialog might have helped. I also could figure out where in the world you are located. Sorry to be negative.

Ok, that's about all I can manage that doesn't involve shopping or food and I'm unsure how much cross-over there is between Slovenian and Croatian... I'm a mountain biker and have wanted to do a bike tour down through both for a while now.

I'll watch it this evening.
