Braking & Ceamic Rims

I like my ceramic rims because they wear really well in my winter commute. But the brake pads leave a LOT to be desired when it comes to stopping power in very wet weather. Any suggestions?

Are you using ceramic specific pads? They work far better than any other. I've had mine for at least five years and have no complaints with their effectiveness.
When used with normal rubber pads, braking is still pretty good in my experience, but the pads wear quickly.

For wet weather commuters, no doubt about it. For the weekend warrior on his plastic bike with plastic rims, getting ready at the coffee shop on a sunny Sunday...not so much, even tho he's gotta have 'em!!!

You two jokers are part of some cabalistic disc brake cult, or have lots of shares in SRAM or Shimano.
