Mega storm approaching the North East. Thirty inches of snow predicted.

Sounds fun.

I've had my fat bike out all winter already. I find on cleared or packed streets or trails, I get good enough traction - but snow man? Breaking trail? Aiyeee, fuggedaboudit! Walking, babe.

Pshew - uphill? On melting snow? Whoooopaaaah! Slickereeno! It is slide-about-every-which-way! No steering traction. No rear-end traction. Certain death if I try it on the ridge trail, for sure.

But, I'm still out there - since my bike is still more fun than walking!
