Nice to see the inclusion of Tom Simpson but why not also include great track riders Reg Harris and Norman Sheil?

cos its based on the last 50 years.. harris stopped riding in about 57 with one exception..

i think the last fifty year thing is a bit daft though.

I think it then gives them the ability to honour these in the future rather than do them all at once.

The 50 years is since the formation of British Cycling.
Presumably anyone riding earlier is "nowt to do with us, mate"

British Cycling won't just use the money to pay its trade team or even just to fund the academy and development programs.I think it then gives them the ability to honour these in the future rather than do them all at once.I think the last fifty year thing is a bit daft though.
