he knows a fair bit about cycling. he's pretty funny i reckon. he asks good questions too for the most part. i liked his question to duffer's once: "so, what's that in cheese terms". it was funny at the time.

In the old days just used to be able to press a button and get the Eurosport commentary in Dutch or French, couldn't understand a word of it but it was still better than the British(And I'm fully aware Kelly isn't British but he doesn't say much) commentators. Its even worse now with SKY on the go.

As i remember it, Eurosport cut to a commercial break without telling Harmon and he then let his producer know exactly what he thought, not realising he was still on air in certain parts.
There was a clip on youtube but i can't seem to find it just now. If anyone else has a link...

he is a good commentator. and he gets peed off like the fans back home.

His producer told him that they were ending the programme fairly suddenly before they had done the podium and he said something like.

"Whaaaat! No podium. That's boll**ks JC".

The last bit is definitely exact.

That's spot on.

Eurosport had something else coming on live like Touring Cars or something. Harmon and Kelly had been doing commentary for the whole 7 hours of the World Championship and obviously got told as soon as Evans crossed the line that they were finishing the broadcast.
At the time I thought his reaction was entirely understandable.

To be fair I think Harmon and Kelly are decent and know the sport inside out - I remember when it used to be Duffield and Roche - now that was terrible.

Eurosport now starting up at 10-45 am, so for the start. (if they can stop the studio talking)
Then, an hour at the vroom vrooms, before coming back at their original start time.
French tv look to be going straight through using F2/3......
