Congrats to BroDeal, one of the very first members here on the CN forum, for breaking the 10,000 post barrier. I believe he's the 4th or 5th person to do so. Chapeau!

What makes it more impressive is that for those of you who spend time on other sites, you'll know over the last several years he's been quite active there as well. A true cycling fan if there was one.

On some forums that distinction may make you a bit of a "wind bag" and/or a "nut job". From what I have read here this is NOT the case. Thanx BroDeal for contributing to the quality of the posts on this forum.

And unlike some posters that were banned, BroDeal served out his suspension, came clean and was welcomed back into the posting peleton.

What sticks in my craw are those guilty posters who never 'fess up and deny, deny, deny. Yet there are those who will continue to buy into the myth. Sad....just sad.

Well put it this way I have a feeling Brodeal has posted quite a bit over 1100 posts on this forum.

Damiano Machiavelli for starters is already nearly 1000 extra posts.

I just don't know. I want to believe, but BroDeal has always had a certain 'glow' about him.

'Torque wrenches or dorque wrenches', 'Most Farcical Tour Ever?', 'JV goes Whole Hog', 'Keep your junk warm in winter', 'Has Velonews turned to crap?', 'Is BigBoat a Troll?', 'Who is Armstrong?' (post #8 therein is legend), and the venerable 'This Forum Blows'... you just cannot create this many threads of such quality and complexity on bread and water alone.

So burn it down, and start again.
