I have the opportunity to get a copy, and was wondering if it's worth the read, or just another ok book? Also, is this his autobiography?

Which book ? There is about five that I know of. Check them out on Amazon maybe. I have not read any.

Is it Close to Flying? Haven't read it but it's co written by Rob Arnold (Ride Magazine) who is a bit of a fanboy. Apparently it's ok, just lays it on a little thick at times.

I thought it was fairly average to be honest. Some of the stories about his early career are interesting and the transition to BMC stories were intriguing but otherwise I thought it was fairly mundane.
