just bought a cannondale super six with 105 which i love but chose it over a giant tcr advanced 2 with same group set on because it was £400 cheaper and seemed better value for money. what does everyone think, did i make right decision or would you have gone for the giant

they are all made in Taiwan so not much difference in the product, but customer service is the real difference in products nowadays..

You've absolutely bought a really nice bike. The Giant is good, too. I've had a Dale like yours for two years and it's the best carbon bike I've ever ridden - really responsive, stiff but resiliant, too. I no longer miss my old steel Cinelli.

I went from a Giant TCR carbon 01 to a similar spec Cannondale System 6 and never looked back. The Giant was slightly lighter and a little better over REALLY bad surfaces but otherwise the Cannondale destroys it.

The Giant just felt soft, while the Cannondale launches itself whenever I put the hammer down. And the difference in handling is massive with the massive headtube profile, especially downhill.

You made a great value for money purchase!

You made a great decision. I've never ridden a Giant but I guarantee you will love the SuperSix. I am extremely biased as I've ridden many 'Dales (currently on two SystemSixs - one with Chorus, one with Centaur).

Let us know what you think as you start to rack up the miles...

£400 goes a long way, you have done the right thing
If you are a crit rider then there in no question you are better off. If not you are still better with the cash!
(It is not like you are comparing a high end and a bargain basement frame, they are both good solid units)
