I don't know if this has ever been suggested but i was wondering if it might be an idea to have a chatroom on this forum for people to discuss events in real time during races such as the worlds tonight/today or major stages during the grand tours. I would have no idea how to set one up but i thought it might be a good idea.

Its probably been thought of before and also as i've thought of it it's probably a terrible idea I just thought i might throw it out there as a suggestion.

davidw has an irc based chat over at http://www.bikechatter.com/chat that has been used during some races. It varies a lot how many people are there though. Mostly people just post in the current race thread.

I think this forum is really good to discuss the racing during races. As others said it works like a really good live ticker.

Ya, especially if you put it to display 40 posts per page instead of 10 so the pages don't fly away so fast.

using admin powa (thats an option admins usually have the how many posts per page. currently is set for 10 but it could be changed to at least 20)
