Hi everyone,

I´m finding difficulty in the Vuelta's route map for the climb of Pena Cabarga. I'm going to the stage on Thursday and I'm trying to figure out which Pena Cabarga is it, Peña Cabarga, Villaescusa, or Peña Cabarga, Penagos, as there both within a couple of kms of each other and from the vuelta route map and detail I'm finding it difficult to figure it out.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, also going to the stage??
Thanks again!

Take the N-634 road that comes from Bilbao direction Santander. Some kilometres before reaching El Astillero (and then Santander proper), right after passing through the town of Heras (LOL), you'll see a sign that says "Peña Cabarga" and "Monumento a la Marina de Castilla" or something like that, it's to the left of the road. And you're there.

Have fun!

Neither. It's Peña Cabarga from either Heras or Santiago. It doesn't appear on google maps or anything, you have to switch to satellite view to see the road appear.

Thanks for the quick reply, but km wise it doesnt look right..I'm completly stumped!!
