Since tirreno adriatico when the contador thread was resurrected (by me though no doubt you have me listed as one of those biased towards contador:rolleyes:) 2 months, or 8 weeks ago, the thread has had 100 new pages of discussion; or 1000 posts (not including deleted posts).

So your assertion that the clinic ignores contador is just baseless whining.

You have been, in my opinion.

Your seems to have changed your view, I am not denying that. But all my posts are not directed to you. AC maybe was more of a thing back into the day, but there is no denying that people still cheer for him and want to se him beat "the alien" seeing as he is a Armstrong-like cheater to them...

Piti may belong to the past to some extent but it's still a pattern. The spanish back in the days and the Colombians now.

Not saying everyone are this way, but there are big hypocrites on this board in my opinion.

Sky have won 2 TdFs and a bunch of other significant stage races.

That's why they get the attention. Sure, there might be a bunch of sourpuss Aussies not missing the opportunity for a whine and swelling the threads, but the fact remains if Sky had placed 4th in every race they rode the narrative would be somewhat different.

Back in -09 AC was deemed "the greatest talent since Merckx". Always on form, always attacking. Winning races left and right. People loved it.

And now you can compare the SKY/Froome/Wiggins- threads to AC's thread.

Heck, 40% thought AC's did the -11 Giro clean…

People also seem to forget that probably most active forumers are Anglos themselves. Their discussions are naturally drawn towards that which they know best: the Anglo peloton.

Predominantly Anglo forum + Anglo domination in cycling = more discussion about Anglos.

Like, duh.

So...

Venting about Spanish and Italians while at the same time have threads about Anglos = Hypocrisis.

Got it.

Would enjoy a Philip Deignan win sometime, just to confirm what a hypocritical **** Digger is.

dimspace is the biggest Sky homer to ever live, so that's not a surprising tweet

A great amount of those posts were pointless fanboy or anti's arguments (?) on him being clean or not and useless comparisons on whether he was a better deserving doper than others or not, though. You don't find the unanimity there as in the Sky/Froome/Porte threads.

Unanimity? The Sky thread would not be nearly as long if it were not paralyzed by the same extreme arguments on both sides of the equation. The reason Bert and Piti don't get these extremely long threads is no one questions if they doped and many don't question if they still dope.

There is a change in behaviour once some has been popped.

Considering how varied dims reactions are to a Chris Horner win or a Usain bolt win compared to a Chris froome or Bradley Wiggins win, I don't know if he's the best person to make that kind of comment.

Well, quite a lot has happened since 09 ... don't ya think?
Before 06 I believed Ullrich and Basso were clean

Yes, ofc!

But as you can see in the thread I linked to, 40% thought AC was clean during the 2011 Grio, which is kind of telling since that was after he got caught.

What was the post netserk made yesterday? Something like- ignorance becomes functional trolling at some point, or words to that effect.

Yes, seems like something Netserk would write. I don't know how it applies to the post you quoted though.

This. Personally I don't think the clinic's biggest problem is hypocrisy, it's the mocking, bullying, sniping and sneering that goes on.

There is a distinct anti-Anglo vibe from many posters though, and that does colour their perception of riders and the extent of their doping.

Digger would be the first to question Deignan if he won. He has criticised Roche and Kelly for doping, no national bias with him from what I've seen

Edit: stage or one-day win perhaps not, but that is not comparable to the likes of Froome and Wiggins

A thread created with the purpose of insulting the clinic as a whole? Yeah, this is getting closed.
