Enough already please, its the same guys over and over, mostly very thinly hidden troll posts by clinic frequenters, the mods do sod all.

The mods do as much as we can. We all have jobs outside of the forum and cannot be online 24/7 to read every individual posting.

As we have said many times before, we rely on the users to keep us informed of violations.

Thank you.

From today's stage thread

Oh sure, clean as it's ever been. Right.
It would be nice if at least Administrators didn't make clinic comments out of the clinic.

Really? over that?

I just think the amount of more or less subtle clinic talk in the race threads is getting ridiculous. Would be nice if at least admins/mods stayed way clear of the line between clinic and non-clinic.

When you quote, you shouldn't quote selectively:

Oh sure, clean as it's ever been. Right.

Having said that, let's keep the doping talk where it belongs. Plenty of threads in the clinic about it

Why not?

In this case the quoted post was rather short so of course could have been quoted in full but in general I think it helps understanding to just quote part of a post if a reply is only a reply to that part of the post.

Concerning the specific topic I don't really think it makes a difference. If anything the unquoted part makes it even more obnoxious imo basically saying "They're all doped to the gills! Now stop talking about doping!"

I appreciate that the mods are volunteers and doing their best to keep the forum nice for us all to enjoy.

But frankly if somebody read Alpe d'Huez's post as "As long as you keep the clinic talk tongue in cheek it's no problem." I wouldn't be surprised.

yeah it is terrible when a little bit of reality enters the pro cycling sub forum hey

That's funny. I thought you were a proponent of the rules to be upheld very strictly. But maybe that only hold for anti-doping rules and not forum rules?

I said, "a little bit of reality", not full blown. But if you want to compare sporting fraud to some internet forum discussions and try to find similarities, good luck.
