Liggett on Armstrong: The whole investigation was a waste of money"

Where's the balance? Where's the paragraph detailing the shared interests?

Liggett works for Versus an american sports channel owned by NBC

Coverage of the Tour on NBC/Versus (orignally know as OLn) brought substantially greater viewership to the then fledgling channel, due in part to the growing popularity of American rider Lance Armstrong. In 2004, where Armstrong would aim for a record-breaking 6th straight Tour de France title, NBC/Versus would take advantage of his popularity and the historic run by devoting over 344 hours to Tour-related programming in July 2004 (including documentaries and coverage of the event itself), and running a $20 million dollar "Cyclysm" ad campaign to promote its coverage.

Ligget is a joke in the world of cycling.

Well done CN for lowering your standards further.

I gotta say they did pretty well with this http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/con...al-investigation-into-armstrong-and-us-postal ..props to them for it and i finally followed them on twitter because of it :D. Props to Aunt Susan.

Well maybe but i hope that CN pursues (in a purely journalistic sense only) that 'source' to get more info and keep this story and the real reason the investigation got pulled in the cycling media rather than the BS from clowns like Liggett, who is a dinosaur and was last relevant in the 70s.
