In this forum there are often discussions about who is going to win a certain race or who would feature in certain finishes, but the guys finishing regularly in the top 10 or 20, but just not getting the wins don't get that much praise for their consistency.
So this thread is about who will have the most consistent campaign in the cobbled classics.
Now we could have a little forum competition about who can pick the best team consisting of 7 riders who will get the most points out of the next four big cobbled races:
E3 Prijs Vlaanderen - Harelbeke
Ghent - Wevelgem
Ronde van Vlaanderen
Paris - Roubaix
I therefore devised a point system:
1) 50
2) 45
3) 40
4) 36
5) 33
6) 30
7) 28
8) 26
9) 24
10) 22
11) 20
12) 18
13) 16
14) 14
15) 12
16) 10
17) 8
18) 7
19) 6
20) 5
So it would be great to have a discussion about who is really going to be consistent up there this season and also this competition, where I will keep track of the points and announce the winners
.
And if you like it, we can set up a similar thread for the Ardennes Classics and other events.
