Wow, Alberto is a fan of Buffalo Springfield.

That must have been someone from his press office. I doubt he knows anything about Buffalo Springfield.

What is surprising is the fact that he took the TT bike to the top of the mountain.

No hablo espanol. Soi from Arizona where all the white-bred crackers don't like brown people kicking their fat asses for a job.

Hey discount at the local all-you-can-eat, fatties. Run!

LMAO, a lettuce picker from Arizona that doesn't speak Spanish. Impossible.

Contador turned up on the RadioSmack bus this morning with gifts of watches for all last years Asatan tour riders....Uniballer had gone to sign on.

"The Spaniard visited Armstrong's team bus before the stage to offer his former team mate a watch inscribed "Tour de France 2009" as a souvenir of his victory in last year's race.

American Greg LeMond started the tradition in 1990 when he gave all his team mates a watch.

"Very generous. Obviously he recognises he had the support of a great team it's a nice gesture," said Armstrong."

Sounds like Contador is very subtle indeed. :D

Armstrong was there, he went in the back of the bus and hid from AC.

Wonder what he is scared of?

In addition to re-signing with Astana, Alberto may ride the Vuelta this year:

Contador’s brother expects that the agreement will be resolved as soon as possible so that he can focus on this season’s goals, among whch could be the Vuelta a España.

Quote is from here. Thanks to El Imbatido for posting the link in the transfers thread. Wanted to move Vuelta discussion over here.

AC has mentioned doing a Tour-Vuelta double. Here's another hint that it's likely, depending on how this Tour goes.

Uhm, the vuelta thing does not seem to come from the Brother/manager, but from the editor of the website

great news !

this berto chap is so provincial :D

he signs with the team that did not pay his salary (per the texas tool graham watson) and despite being stabbed in the back by vino in stage 3.

yeah he has a lot to learn from the great champion ;).

but seriously, vino and berto - the dream team !
