There's a guy I know who has made a detailed analysis of the world championship circuit at Rudersdal (northwest of Copenhagen). I haven't browsed the whole internet, but I think it's the most thorough analysis you'll get. :)

http://www.danskebjerge.dk/

It's originally in Danish, but he's made a quick translation into English (as you'll see on the front page).

By the way, "Danske bjerge" means "Danish mountains". ;-)

The course is fairly easy. Hushovd and Freire have both said it's easier than they thought it would be (although Cav said it was harder). The organisers probably tried to make it somewhat challenging, but it's still in Copenhagen, so it's going to be flat, and not technical either. The final straight, however, is more suited to a rider like Hushovd than Cavendish.

The top favourite will have to be Hushovd on this course. I think the pure sprinters won't be up there, it's too hard for them. Hushovd, Breschel for another podium spot, Boonen, perhaps Bennati. Attackers will have a chance though, Gilbert and Cancellara most of all.

It's the worlds, so I'm sure it'll be interesting even if it's a relatively flat course.

The course does look fairly easy for a WC. The toughest climb seems to be barely 500 m at 5.5%, and it's far from the finish line. The final hill is just a bit over 500 m but at 4%. I could see a lone attacker or a few of them disrupting the finish, but a relatively big peloton will be close behind.

Boonen won't win. He already gets dropped on hills of 500 meters with an average of 3% by Gilbert.

A lot of sprinters were forced to abandon the Vuelta, so I'm not sure who will win this...
