Which version is best? do you have a favorite version? This is multiple choice
I've heard enough and needed to stop at seven choices because the voices said so.

Not on the list, but I've always really liked the CCR version best.

Huddie Ledbetter for me. although RRV is right that CCR did a great version.

I had CCR on the list but somehow it never made it to post.
My favs are CCR and Ayala. I found the Ayala version yesterday and started looking to compare. The Beach Boys version is so bad it's funny.

The two versions I remember are Teresa Brewer's and the Staple Singers'.

This version is interesting. It is by a Japanese guitarist named Chihana. The second half of the video is a Japanese version of Nat King Cole's "Get Out and Get Under the Moon." The Japanese title is read "gekka atai senkin."
