Couple of pics from Paris Roubaix

Got back last night from watching Paris Roubaix live for the first time and thought I'd share a couple of pictures I took with y'all!

First one from St Python sector

Next one taken about 5 metres from the line, we snuck into the vip area unchallenged!

^Yeah it was brilliant.
The only downside was we took a gamble and went to St Python which was about 30 minute drive from Arenberg but an hour and a half before the forest on the race schedule plenty of time to get there so we thought.
Unfortunately never made it due to road closures. Although getting in the vip in the grandstand and watching the final 40 km on the screen made up for the disappointment! Security guard was only concerned with keeping people out of the press area, he even let my brother out of the area and back in again to go to the toilet!
I will post some more pics up when I get round to upping them all.

Here you go a couple more, First one is the back of the leading group at St Python,

Second one is Van Summeren etc leading the chase of that very group at about 98km remaining. Jumped out of the car at a police road block, ran down the road a bit and caught the race for the 2nd time here!

Just thought I'd add one more. This is the first time we saw the race and is the front shot of that leading group rear view that I posted earlier. The excitement here is unbelieveable what with the waiting, helicopters, dust, atmosphere and general chaos!!
