This is not a crank length debate.
So I'm curious and want to try out a number of crank arm lengths and positions because I'm scientific like that.
I do not want to buy entire chainsets for my little biomechanics experiment. Both for cost reasons (in order to save my genitalia from harm) and as a "control", I naturally want the only piece of equipment to change during comparisons of different crank lengths to be ... the crank lengths (funnily enough).
I found a place to buy crank arms of varying lengths (harder than expected wtf) they don't seem to be contactable (or they are are just taking their time) hence this post.
I've got 5 bolts on my tiagra chainset, as long as I buy crank arms with 5-bolt attachments can I swap out crank arms on the same chainset. A mechanic I am not but we all start somewhere.
If yes are there any caveats I should be aware of? Thank you.
