I can't really see anyone but Froome winning here. I hope for Contador or Valverde but don't think thats likely.
Agree, Froome is going to win GC. It's going to be interesting to see Porte, Contador, Bardet, Aru and Chaves battle for other podium spots, especially Chaves, coming back from injury and had not race since Feb?

Alaphilippe was best young rider last year and he is out with knee injury, Simon Yates is going to win it this year.

I think this race is Porte's to lose; Froome will just look to ride himself into shape. Of course, the Tour is another story.

Wow, Aru is going to be in the race? Will be going to the Tour as Fuglsang's dom, or as a co-leader? Or just get some racing miles in preparation for the Vuelta? I guess this means Lopez is the designated leader in the Vuelta if he manages a full recovery.

Quick-Step will also be a team to watch for as they could play a big role in the breaks. No one will want to give Martin or Brambilla too many free minutes...

Hoping for a strong performance from Talansky. I think he actually has a shot!

Porte to dominate the mountain stages!
Will it be enough to win the gc with a 23.5km long ITT? Who knows, but I think he can do it.

Porte doesn't have a chance agaisnt froome. Froome will gain a minute in the time trial and he will control in the climbs. Contador will go bananas on mont du chat

He has a great chance. He could easily be better in the mountains and he can do a good TT. Personally I think Porte is the favorite. Even if he doesn't win, he'll still be challenging Froome.

Is there time bonus's? Valverde could podium. The fanboy in me wants Chaves to do well.
