Vingo to be Jumbo's best GC bet for the TDF. I love Roglic, my favorite rider the past 4 years. But injuries and time have taken their toll. -- Would love for Roglic to make me look like a fool. ... Of course, that's a low bar anyway.

Well, they probably want to keep Van Aert on the team. He is a quite good cyclist you know. And he probably wants freedom in the Tour or go somewhere else.

Then go someplace where he can be the team leader and not detract from his team leader

If Van Aert were as good of a cyclist as Rog, then he could have a team all for him

hard to believe since Ganna pushed the highest speed in the 1st part.
Seems the 2nd part got a lot harder though. So maybe the 1st/3rd are easier but the 2nd part is harder?
don't know for sure either, but Cattaneo for example lost 8s to Ganna in pt1, 28s in pt 2 and 3s in pt 3, and there's a bit of a pattern for many

I mean he beats his teammate in Vingegaard, he's not close to aiming to peak yet and he's the only person who can beat Pogacar imo. He probably can't drop Pogacar, but he can outsprint him for bonus seconds and potentially gap him in those 500m uphill finish sprints he does.

No one else can come close.

Ganna monster second part. But Hayter went 17sec faster than him in the final. Maybe he paced himself for a fast finish, it could be really close then

Great performance from the huge Lombardo Mattia Cattaneo, put time to Roglic, Vingegaard and all the other gc guys
