I've recently started to collect autographs of cyclists (i'm a big geek)

Apart from ebay where should i be going to get them?

Ebay is good for the big british names ie cav, wiggo and the olympc medalists (and oddly lots of ben swift!) but not so good for international names or indeed people like chris boardman, stephen roche, michael hutchinson or graeme obree.

I realise its better to get the autographs yourself rather than buying them but will hopefully get a chance to do that in my home town of Belfast next May at the Giro

Write to Michele Ferrari. His collection of cyclists' autographs is probably the most valuable in the whole world!

See if you can get to one of the big cycle shows. I don't collect autographs, but still managed to get those of Merckx and Kelly at a show in London about five years ago.

I just won a lance armstrong signed photo on ebay. I was the only person to even bid on it! It seems his autograph is perhaps not so sought after anymore!

I am also inspire from autographs. Autograph of well known cyclists is a big source of motivation for me. ebay is the best best source to collect, but I want to collect original.
