CyclingOracle.com is a brand new cycling website, built from the ground up to provide up to the minute content from all available sources - including cyclingnews.com of course!

CyclingOracle aims to bring links to all this content together in one place, with added extras in the form of photos, videos and more.

The website has only just been launched and is under ongoing development.

Take a look - we hope you like it and we will be receptive to your comments and suggestions for improvements.

ps. I hope this post meets cyclingnews.com guidelines - the purpose of cyclingoracle.com is not in any way to compete with cyclingnews.com: we would have no chance! CyclingOracle links extensively to new content from cyclingnews.com and aims to make this content accessible alongside content from other sources, to the benefit to all the websites, and the all users. Thank you!

So you've...

- linked to the content of numerous respected online publications with no obvious editorial process
- inserted the photographs of hundreds of Flickr users
- imported feeds from Google syndicated from Google's list of sources
- embedded other people's videos from YouTube
- presented all of this with an out-of-the-box Drupal theme

So what have you actually done yourself?

The Internet has plenty of replicated information already. You've gone one step beyond, you've syndicated the replicated. That's quite an achievement.

If you want to deliver a unique, useful online experience - and I know what I'm saying here is truly revolutionary - why not expend your efforts on creating something yourself?

Of course, we know why not. Because that requires talent, dedication and goodwill. Without these you have nothing.

So I guess you have nothing.

Well the purpose of the website is to provide a means to avoid having to search through ten websites for news content, hundreds of flickr accounts for photos (ps. all have given written permission and are backlinked), and thousands of youtube videos

By achieving this it provides a very useful user experience in my opinion by being a one stop shop for all - making all of the above easily accessible.
