I think Sagan owns the whole Adriatic coast from Chieti all the way up to Porto Sant'Elpidio. Now he has won five times in that area and three (perhaps four, I think Chieti 2012 was a bit more predictable) of those wins are among his most impressive wins ever on terrain that should be too tough for him (PSE 2013, Fermo 2017, Tortoreto 2020).

In the middle of that stretch of road, however, is San Benedetto del Tronto situated, and that may be some sort of Sagan-independent exclave which stands firm against his tyranny.
