http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/uci-set-to-decide-on-ulissi-hearing

So, Ulissi set to get the verdict any time now..
He got popped in this years Giro...

Seems to me generally, that the bigger the team/rider, the longer the case handling..
JTL, Kreuziger, AC (clen case) etc....

But what about Ulissi.. Not the smallest fish, one hit wonder then?
(assuming appeals won't drag this one on forever)

I know that BP cases are more advanced, and that bigger teams/riders can throw more money in it.. But is this really the whole explanation for several years of difference in case handling?

Some would argue they are different kinds of cases and that's true to some extent.

Otherwise yes, the inconsistency is remarkable and very interesting "dark forces" seem to be altering the handling of these cases.

I think it's difficult to compare a standard positive to a ABP. In fact, I think it's impossible.

Contador's case is full of interference and likely we never would have known about it except for that inquisitive journalist whose name I forget.

JTL seems to have played the game as much as possible and the game is longer for ABP I think.

Otherwise I'm not sure it's the case.

Personally I can't but having a (probably naive) hope that things eventually will generally be faster. Kreuziger's case is from, when was it? 2011? That's just ridiculous!
However. it's also important that each case take the needed time to reach a verdict. For example, let's look at Contador and Kreuziger's cases:

Contador:
Took almost two years to reach a verdict, but was begun almost immediatly after the offence was detected. Dragged out due to appeals and, as you mention in the OP, probably due to Contador being a somewhat big name.

Kreuziger:
Dormant for three years. (At least that's the way I see it, of course they could have been working on it behind the scenes).
