Anyone know if the UCI performed any doping tests on the riders at the recent Dauphine? Watching Jani stay with AC was reminiscent to Michael Rasmussen answering to every acceleration AC a few years ago in the tour. And we know what Michael was up to.

If that was all Jani, then he should be let loose at the TDF.

This should be in the clinic. But you should read the Dauphine race threads where the speed they climbed Alpe d'Huez is compared to historical times. The posters showed how they didn't really climb it very fast. Jani wasn't going fast, AC was going slow.

Also, as the OP may not know, Michael Rasmussen was a two time winner of the polka dot jersey, not exactly the worst climber around.

Well obviously if Rasmussen was full of fuel to stay with AC, then AC was also, no?
