Forgot that I made a Paul double thread. It was justified though.

The most electric climber in cycling is making his season debut tomorrow. Leading the team at the alula tour - important for the sponsors. The team will balance that with sprinting with ackeermann.

With the race upgraded to .pro (which it shouldn't be IMO) it is a good opportunity to score lots of points and impress the sponsors. Go Paul go!

I too will be rooting for him this week. 2 stages with climbing so he should at least be up there on GC.

Him and Hatherly will be a good combo. Hatherly had a good start to the season last year, wonder if they let the road decide who leads the GC

The most important thing is Jayco have brought De Bondt and De Pooter who can guide Hatherley and Double through crosswinds which impacted GC on stage 5 in the 2025 edition.
