Dromarti shoes

Not too popular an item, but seem to get very good reviews whenever one stumbles across one. If you're wondering about performance, they have been used by Roberto Chiappa, who is a match sprinter on the Italian National team. I know it's not an endorsement by Chris Hoy, but any rider at that level is not going to take a chance with their equipment. And they look great too!

My first ever cycling shoes were Detto Pietro. After a LONG hiatus from cycling I purchased lower end Shimano shoes. Not so bad but the Dromarti shoes look like they would be so comfortable after break-in. So classic in appearance.
I don't race and don't do really long rides (20-50 miles typically) so just maybe these would be an appropriate choice.
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Happy Thanksgiving Day to those of you in the USA.

My first pair was DP also. These Dromarti's are beautiful. I would be tempted to get a black pair and a pair in "classic" color. But alas, I just ordered a pair of $200 Northwave winter shoes. "Formal wear" summer shoes will have to wait. :(

Took four beers to get the courage to hit the "send" button but the order has been placed. Black/Race model.
Whoo hoo. Christmas comes early to SoCal.:)

That was just to order. Friends over for Thanksgiving. Closer to a twelve pack and a couple or three glasses of wine now.
I purchased my last bicycle a few months ago and everything else from here on out is icing on the cake.
Life is good.

Probably only needed a little bit of courage, not like he was talking to a girl or anything LOL
I might be talking to a girl when the credit card statement arrives. Aw geez, you had to ruin it. Didn't you?

Just received the new shoes. Really nice quality. Old school as expected. I know that I will definitely replace the insoles.
I would not hesitate to recommend these shoes to anyone looking for retro...
