Hi folks,

I have had these wheels for a little over a year with nothing but problems.

The latest issue, after a rain ride one of my front bearings appears to have disintegrated, any ideas where I can get a replacement set without spending the earth!?

They did send me the replacement pre load adjuster for the front wheel but I can't get the old one off so I end up with play during and after every ride, any ideas on how to shift the blighter to replace it with the upgrade!?

Cheers

Mike

Mike- I have had the same problems with these wheels as well. I brought them in hopes they would be as good as my old velomax wheels. Bearings are toast after any sort of mild contact with water, the preload adjusters always loosen. The hubs stink. Do yourself a favor and ditch them on ebay.

I am starting to think the same although part of me doesn't want to give up and loose money on a £700 set of wheels!!

Living in Britain they do see A LOT of water mind!

If I can source new bearings and get this new pre load adjuster on then I'll give them one last whirl!

It bothers me a lot, hence me trying to find a way to change the pre load adjuster and try again! :)

Make them pretty, new bearings and sell 'em. Find a decent wheelbuilder that will design a wheelset specifically for you and your needs, using far superior hubs, like Ultegra or DA or even 105 hubs.
