Hello you very wonderful and intelligent people that make up this forum. I truly hope you are doing well and keeping positive.

I am wanting to convert my Boardman Mountain Bike with an electric conversion kit that drives it from the rear wheel. 135mm is the mounted width of the rear wheel of my bike. I please kindly wondered if anyone knew of a reliable kit that would fit my bike please? I am taking the bike to a cycling shop to have the kit fitted, but the kit needs to fit the mounted width of the rear wheel please. If anyone kindly had any thoughts on this i would be forever grateful and thankful it would mean the world to me.

Sending you lots of good wishes and i truly hope you continue to enjoy your cycling and have a wonderful life. With my every best wishes to you.

Hi. Any electric kit with the engine as wheel hub needs a counter torque point with your fork/frame. Cheapest way made the manufacturers embed this into the engine/hub axle by making it ticker and not round. Be sure you check this before you buy something (related would be the issue that some frames have with disk brakes causing the frame to fail). Also I would recommend a cassette mounted rear sprocket not a thread mounted one.
