This Eneco Tour is the first one to even remotely live up to the racing the region allows.

Better late than never. ;)

I'm sad that it was too busy weekend to follow the race but profiles of stages were very promising. And race was as good as expected, I believe.

It has been a great race Eneco Tour this year and good performances from especially Dumoulin and Stybar. I really think Stybar has a great potential on the road also and I hope he will get his chances next year.

Being a super strong duracell bunny who will not die and who will put in huge turns and huge moves, but who just lacks that last weapon to convert those strong rides into wins, is becoming his calling card.

Am a massive Stannard fan so have to disagree:)

Sky are still a largely clueless in anything other than The Tour and it''s warm-up races. Why did Stannard attack yesterday on a stage that didn't suit him, with the eventual winner up front? Wasted a load of energy and lost a shedload of time. If he'd just wheelsucked, could anyone have caught him today?

He could be a great classics/stage rider, but maybe needs to go to another team?

fantastic race overall
well done styby! next year try and beat that beast called gaudin in roubaix

Thanks Jens. Was trying to remember Gaudin's name today, der! Looking forward to seeing him, Stannard and Gryvko dishing out the pain next year.

The last two days of this race have been absolutely stonking

Stybar, 27, Dumoulin, 22, Grivko, 30. Almost 3 generations on the podium.

I really look forward to Dumoulins career now. Hope he doesn't peak too early like most Dutch riders tend to. Still, that would already be a decent level for this type of stage races clearly

Kelderman was amazing today. Is there something this guy can not do? Climb, sprint, hills, Flanders, TT. Someone better build him a statue!

Too bad he had the same problem as Chavanel... wrong timing, both yesterday and today. Could've easily been in the top 5. Both of them, they were definately a lot stronger than Grivko, Bakelants and Impey

They were the strongest with Stybar. But Kelderman his timing isn't a problem, they guy just turned 22. In Chavanel's case it's more worrying, maybe. Or just bad luck. But Kelderman was just so impressive today, never thought he'd be amongst the strongest riders on such a stage.

Stannard's main problem is a lack of opportunity. A rider of his type needs to attack often as his style of racing isn't going to succeed most of the time. Just look how rarely even Jens Voigt succeeds for example. Stannard maybe gets 4 or 5 chances a year, as long as that continues he is going to find it very hard to win races. He needs to be at a team where he has the freedom to go in breakaways or to attack late on. He will never get that at Sky.

Nice stage again and first time a good overall race, especially these last two stages. If they keep this kind of race design then it's definitely WT worthy. Too bad about Dumoulin today but Styby is a deserved winner.
