Who is this guy? Where did he come from? Backstory?
Always a huge talent who had a horrible crash that delayed his burst on WT level.
Still, the guy was with his buddy Oscar Sevilla in Colombia before the Giro and just like before the Vuelta he didn't race for a very long time before the start of the gt.

In all honesty it is OK that every GT contender gets his own thread in the clinic. I can take it. But I expected you to be more knowledgeable than this when it comes to doping. I think you asked the wrong questions. And you know it.

It's more of a 'prompt', to get people to engage and place information. I'm fully aware he hasn't 'come from nowhere' but he has taken a sizeable jump in performance. Orica have a fairly dirty backroom team. Questions should be asked.

really....didn't even bother to google him? If we are going to question him, you should also start Kruijswijk thread here...

How do lowlanders learn to climb?

Do you know how **** huge our dykes are?

i prefer the term lesbian or sea-retaining-wall.

in anglophone parlance this is the idiom we use in polite company, dont you know how WADA and the hq in Montreal came about, we offered some concession to fancophones and francophiles by putting it in the french speaking part of canada. that sufficed and quietened the french

A politically correct Aussie? Right bloody shocking, mate.

Chavez really seems like a great guy; and super chill, too. See him smile those pearly whites at the finish of the Giro's queen stage? Looked fresh as a daisy; like he just won the sprint to the top of a small hill against his mates on a GT rest day.

Did he win anything of note recently or his biggest victory is still the late GP di Camaiore? :)

Seriously though, I like Chaves, great talent and a tendering smile but I wish he would stop with this silly V sign on podiums. He does not need such ugliness. It's almost as lame as the Contador salute or the Sagan wheelie...

Nothing, nothing in this world, is as lame as the Contador salute. Can't someone tell him?

Is this kid even old enough to shave yet? (I'm getting old, everyone below the age of 40 looks young to me nowadays. So do, please, keep this in mind.)

I'd be exploring that avenue - apparently Chaves, despite his horrible accident a few years back, still manages to look like a teenager!

PS- I'm just being silly now, I realize. But I'd really like to know what kind of face cream he is using.
