No I don't. Im able to watch any race that Im interested in as is

Also Im usually listening to the Vuelta on my way back from work and I wanted to punch the steering wheel when he said Vuelta Asturias wasn't a race anymore and that is now named Gran Camino. I didn't do it though!

But now I know he isn't reading Libertine's comments on CN on Spanish stage racing, past and present, or share the love of Mosquera. Or simply just using PCS....
Have the Galicians invaded Denmark yet?

That was Vinjebo...

I seriously consider just scrapping it next year as I'm basically paying forty euros a year for subpar commentary and for them to geoblock races I actually do want to watch...

For me it was either GCN+ or Discovery+, with the latter being far more expensive.

Yes, I know that. I just don't understand why thy bring him in, felt like Pill (who I very much enjoy as a commentator, same with Bay) was talking to a brick wall.

I think Kragh could be somewhat decent in a three man line up, so he doesn't have to contribute all the time. Still better than Jez Cox talking way too much though. The best thing about GCN+ is that you can either switch language or turn off commentary if you don't like it.

I'm Belgian, so I have got a great deal of my cycling on national TV. I mainly intended to use GCN+ for the Giro.
But other races I would have liked to watch are for example Poland and some CycloX (which are region locked).
Furthermore, I often get so annoyed by Karsten Kroon's rambles about his private (dating)life that I switch to French GCN

What I noticed about Kroon is that he seems to mainly try to look good whenever he makes his stage winner prediction for GCN like he wants to put his pictures on Tinder.

Thoughts on GCN being sold?
Even though Discovery/Eurosport/TNT or whatever we're calling it next week will likely keep the TV rights and GCN is stripped back and sold as a YouTube channel with a new website, I really, really, really hope Cartoon Kirkby and a few others are included in the sale price. Really.

The one good thing I would say is that freeing the new website from having to suck on Ineos Greanadier's tailpipe (two Geraint Thomas exclusive interviews in three days this week!) a la the rest of Dicovery/GCN/Eurosport would be a boon given the way in which cycling news websites have been reduced in recent years.

That said, it'll likely be Outside buys it so no one will be paying any attention to it in the future.

Its supposed to be up for sale according to folks online. I thought some folks here might be more knowledgeable on the matter.

Which bit though ?

I expected some consolidation with the Eurosport/Discovery takeover as its stupidly confusing offering so many subscription models, for essentially the same thing and clearly Discovery want to keep the TV coverage and force people to buy their more expensive subscriptions package.

But where does that leave GCN except as a YouTube channel, who is going to "buy" that?

I currently pay £40 a year for practically all major bike races across all disciplines, whatever happens it's pretty much guaranteed its going to cost me alot more money.
If coverage is more limited its bad bad news.

Many thanks, though I'm now totally confused, I assume then the races shown are one and the same, so what the heck are they selling that is worth anything
This is the whole problem here. GCN has not been integrated into Discovery. Look at GCN's new website, then look at Eurosport also having a cycling news section on its site. They're not even duplicating content, they're competing with one and other. GCN either needs to be folded into the the forthcoming TNT name - and that means dumping the app, despite the money spent developing it - or off-loaded, the current set up makes no sense.
