Evans - which stage will be his bad day?

Every year Cadel Evans proves he is only human (and cuddly too) and has a bad day and slides down the GC.

God forbid that it happens in TdF 2011 but .... just supposing ... if it does happen this year which stage do you think it might be?

Stages 14, 18, and 19. The Schlecks know what to do now, and they're gonna GIT ER DONE.

God forbid we make another Evans thread of which the topic is just plain silly

I agree but!!!
He will be a minute up when we get to the ITT then he will only get in half a minute ahead of his nearest rival - AS

As a long time supporter of Cadel this is obviously always the fear. Week 3 as usual I guess. However, he does look better this year.

In previous years he has lost 5 to 10 seconds on stages like today and I have consoled myself that he could get that back in the ITT. Then he would blow up mega some time in the third week ruining all hope.

Today he lost nothing. Except to Frank. Who imo is due a bad day himself. So here's hoping this year is different.

he will have more than 1 bad day.

Well seeing as almost everything you predict in these forums turns out wrong I think I canl safely say that Evans will not be having a bad day in this years tour.

evans is a real threat to win this. he is solid this year. no "bad" days.

he is a sure bet for the podium. although at this point anything short of winning is a loss.

the big stages are spread enough for him to recover. this route just might suit him. however tomorrow might be a reckoning

If he has one it will be on the Alpe. Memories of watching Sastre ride away while the Schleck Bros stuck their thumbs in his eye.
