A criterium is not a real race.
This is definitely more "ex" than others things ex riders do.
Like I've mentioned before, there are basically two levels of "retired" these days:
1. Retired-retired
2. Gravel-retired.

This intrigues me. So it's not the Belgian Masked Singer but the Flandres one?
Does Belgium produce two versions of the show or something? One in French and one in Flemmish? And if so how common is that? Or do they even have any programming that is aimed at the whole country at once or is everything either French or Flemmish without much overlap?
Ya, I wikied TV in Belgium and it seems it's completely separate. A lot of things seems to be completely divided between the two languages (or three if you count german). It's almost like they are two completely different countries under the same National header.According to Wikipedia there is only one version of the masked singer in Belgium. The first series was won by the 1986 Eurovision winner Sandra Kim who is from Wallonia.
There are two versions of The Voice in Belgium: The Voice Belgique and The Voice van Vlaanderen.
Don't know about a Walloonian Masked Singer but yeah, TV is seperated. There isn't a 'national' channel, only a national broadcaster with different channels for the different regions/languages.Ya, I wikied TV in Belgium and it seems it's completely separate. It rather begs the question if there is even any joint national Belgian identity at all.
You know you guys are always welcome back to the fold..Don't know about a Walloonian Masked Singer but yeah, TV is seperated. There isn't a 'national' channel, only a national broadcaster with different channels for the different regions/languages.
I'm not going to turn this into a political discussion because we'd be here for a couple of days and I would be accused of being a separatist. But yeah, there isn't really much of a national identity, and I would say the feeling of unity is the lowest on the Flemish part of the border.
I had to google this. You know you guys are always welcome back to the fold..
How about we go solo like in our glory days and reclaim the parts of France and the Netherlands that are rightfully ours!Flanders should become part of England once again. If for no other reason than there being more 'cobbled' races.
