Florida has a lot to offer to cyclists in the spring. Excellent weather and good rail-trails are among them.

The Gainesville - Hawthorne Rail Trail is a nice ride. It is only fifteen miles (one-way) but crosses several roads that are excellent for riding.

Gainesville is s cycling-friendly college town that has been a favorite winter training area for pros from the Northeast for a long time.
